Completing moves with the Correction tool

You can use the Correction tool to complete a planned move to a slot-specific position in the yard or on the vessel. If this tool is unavailable at your site, consult your N4 administrator.

Use cautiously. Corrections made to unplanned containers cannot be reverted automatically.

You cannot undo a completed container move. If you mistakenly complete a container move, you can plan the container back to its original position and then replan the move.

To use the Correction tool:

1. Open the following views to see the container in both its current and its planned position:

• A scan or section view with the relevant container, in the Current timeframe.

• A scan or section view of the stack to which the container is planned, in the Future timeframe.

2. On the toolbar, click .

3. Click the container in its planned position. The container is selected in both views.

4. Press and hold the Ctrl key and click the selected container in its planned position.

The container changes from planned to current status, and the container icon disappears from its original position. The planning status icon no longer displays on large container icons and on container lists.
